We were recently made aware of an issue affecting users who performed a firmware or app update on their UA Heart Rate, which is preventing them from pairing the UA Heart Rate to their UA Band.
To remedy this problem, please follow the troubleshooting steps outlined below.
- Remove the puck from your UA Heart Rate strap > remove battery > re-insert battery. This resets UA Heart Rate.
- Open UA Record > tap the "UA Sync" icon in the top right corner > select UA Heart Rate > Connect. When connection fails, tap the "Set Up a new UA Heart Rate"
- Once your HR connects to the app, background the app and initiate a workout on your UA Band. The two should now be able to communicate again.
