Automatic Sleep is an iOS feature that allows users to track sleep with their iPhone, without the need to log sleep every night! Once enabled, automatic sleep will record the time the user is asleep and sync it with UA Record.
Please Note: Automatic Sleep is in UA Record Version 3.12.0 and newer, please make sure your app is upgraded in order to take advantage of this feature.
To enable automatic sleep you will need to access your iPhone Motion Sensor settings from the "Manage Apps and Devices" screen
Tap the "turn on sleep sensor" setting, you will then be taken to the "Manage Priority" screen to verify that your sleep settings are correct.
If the sleep data captured by UA Record's auto-sleep feature is inaccurate, please review the following for an explanation as to why. Remember, if an error has occurred, you can always edit your sleep logs to be more accurate.
- The UA Record App must be opened and synced daily in order for auto sleep to be recorded. If the app is not opened after multiple sleep cycles, only the most recent one will be recorded in UA Record.
- Sleep duration must be longer than 4 hours in order to be recorded
- Daytime naps will be unable to be recorded with automatic sleep
- The iPhone must be perfectly still in order to record sleep, we recommend placing it on a nightstand by your bed
