Chest strap heart rate monitors are used to continuously track heart rate during workouts. Chest strap heart rate monitors are the most accurate way to measure your heart rate while performing physical activity, and the data collected can be used to calculate calories burned during your workout or activity. Heart rate monitors can also help you track the intensity of your workout, in order to motivate you to push harder or to pace yourself to get the most out of a workout.
Your UA Heart Rate™ can connect via Bluetooth with either your UA Band™ or with the UA Record™ app on your phone. UA Heart Rate™ can only connect to one device at a time. You select the connection by initiating your workout either on UA Band or in UA Record.
In UA Record
Your UA Heart Rate will connect to your phone when the module and strap are worn on your body and you start recording a workout in UA Record. On your phone you will see real time heart rate data, Willpower, calorie burn, and your current heart rate zone.
